Demi Lovato Teases Unreleased Snippet Of New Song From 'D7'

D7 is coming!

Demi Lovato excited all her fans on Tuesday (August 11) when she posted a new video to her Instagram Stories teasing an unreleased track from her upcoming seventh album.

In her Instagram Story, Lovato is sporting a cozy oversized sweater and thin sunglasses while dancing along to what seems to be a very personal and autobiographical track.

“I know I made it hard for you / And I owe my part, I'll tell the truth / You said that it'd be over / If I didn't get sober/ Sober," Lovato's voice sings through the car's speakers while the 27-year-old nods her head along to the 10-second clip.

“She's giving a new meaning to 'sober' the power this has,” one fan tweeted while another wrote, “omg sis WE NEED IT NOW!”

Judging by the D7 hashtag on her video, Lovato is confirming the unreleased song will appear on her forthcoming release.

While we haven't gotten too much information on the upcoming album, it's already received a seal of approval from her fiancé, Max Ehrich. Earlier this month, Ehrich revealed how proud he is of his girl while listening to Lovato's new music and tweeted, “I am so in awe listening to ur new music atm you are gifted beyond words.”

Demi last released an album in 2017, Tell Me You Love Me, and this year has released a few new songs including the emotional “I Love Me,” “Anyone,” and “I'm Ready” featuring Sam Smith. She's also teaming up with pop icon JoJo for a remix of the latter's 2020 album track “Lonely Hearts.”
