Keith Urban apologized for the TikTok he posted after attending one of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” concerts last month. The Australian-born country megastar opened up that he “felt bad” for sharing a clip from the concert, dancing with wife and award-winning actress Nicole Kidman, and inadvertently revealed what appeared to be another couple’s budding relationship.
Though Urban only meant to praise Swift’s performance, eagle-eyed TikTok users couldn’t help but notice fellow artist Phoebe Bridgers and comedian Bo Burnham kissing in the background. One commenter, for example, wrote, “keith urban hard launching phoebe bridgers and bo burnham was not on my 2023 bingo card.” Another wrote in all-caps: “KEITH YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU DID BUT THANK YOU.”
It didn’t take long before Urban realized what happened. He said, as he caught up with Entertainment Tonight, “Phoebe, I'm so sorry. …It felt very awkward. I felt bad. I was just digging on the concert! You never know what's gonna happen.”
Urban and Kidman danced as Swift ended her performance of “Style,” and transitioned into “Blank Space,” both of which she released in 2014 during her 1989 era. Urban gushed that he and Kidman “had the BEST night,” and that Swift’s “Eras” show was “phenomenal.” Watch here:
