Pregnant Lauren Alaina Shares Glimpse Of Sweet Mother-Daughter Moments

Lauren Alaina shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse other heartwarming “Those Kind Of Women” music video. The song and video serves as a tribute to Alaina’s relationship with her mother, and included a surprise pregnancy announcement in the final scene.

“We are on the set of the music video for ‘Those Kind Of Women.’ It’s been a beautiful day so far,” Alaina said in the behind-the-scenes video she shared on Instagram on Monday evening (February 3). “My mom is here. She’s gonna be in the video, and we’re telling the story of my relationship with my mother, so I’m really excited about it. There are multiple scenarios that are almost like memories from my childhood. I walk through the story of my life with my mom from the time she was pregnant with me to me now, and it’s actually really fun. There’s a little surprise that we do at the end. It’s just really sweet. I try on the wedding dress. We have a little girl playing me who’s gonna try on the wedding dress. I actually, fun fact, wore my mom’s wedding dress at my reception, so that was really important for me to showcase in the video, and just all kinds of really fun, special things that my mom and I have done throughout my life.”

Alaina made the surprise pregnancy announcement when she released the single and music video on January 22. She shared with PEOPLE at that time that the baby bump viewers see in the video is fake, as the singer “barely had a bump” while filming. The video ends with a dedication to “my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025.”

This is Baby No. 1 for Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold. The couple tied the knot last year in a breathtaking ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. The parents-to-be recently posted a gender reveal to announce Baby No. 1 is a girl. Alaina and Arnold said they’re “overwhelmed with the love we have received for sweet Baby Arnold. Our baby is so loved already. Thank you for all the well wishes for our growing family.”

Alaina is on of several artists welcoming a baby into the family in 2025. Others who recently welcomed a baby include Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney (Baby No. 4), rising singer-songwriter Sarahbeth Taite (Baby No. 2), and Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter, former American Idol contestant Emmy Russell (Baby No. 1).
