For maybe the very first time... Lunchbox took Bobby's advice.
Awhile back, Bobby encouraged Lunchbox to start applying to jobs and to be on shows because he has the personality and package to do it, he just never does anything about it. So Lunchbox took that to heart when he heard about a job opening in Nashville.
The Nashville Soccer Club in MLS is looking for an in-game host. Someone on the Bobby Bones Show's sales team asked him if he was interested. He said yes, so they told him to send in a resume for the gig. Lunchbox has never created a resume so he didn't know how to make one, thankfully his wife was able to help him out and make one. He also did a cover letter for it. So he applied and is in the running for the position now.
Bones encouraged him to take his application one step further and show up at the office of the person hiring and put a face to the name. He told Lunchbox going the extra mile would benefit him to potentially be placed at the top of the list of applicants. Then at the least he did everything he could to get the job.
UPDATE as of Thursday, March 27th: He was told he has officially made it to the second round! Now they would like him to send in some example videos of what his in-game hosting would look like. The first video he made was from his kid's bedroom with a large Nashville SC flag behind him talking about giving away free beanies. The second video he tied in one of their sponsors while acting like he was hosting a stadium game with some fans.
