Randoms-TikTok Popular w/ Teens, More People Prefer Getting Sick, But Why

Well here’s proof we all need to slow down …A new survey found that 30% of respondents said they actually enjoyed getting sick from time to time. Why? Because it allows them to take a break from the stress of their lives. 40% of those surveyed said being sick gives them time to focus on themselves and permission to slow down. 39% said catching a cold allows them to finally catch up on some much-needed sleep. Speaking of needing to de-stress …A new survey of workers found that 80% said they feel happier when they workout. However, most say they don’t have the time or energy to do it. 48% said they are so busy with work they don’t have any time to exercise, 51% of respondents said sitting at their desk for eight hours a day drains all the energy out of them, and 60% say they are just too tired after work to even think about exercising. (SWNS)

Teens are all about TikTok …A new poll found that the number of teens using TikTok doubled over the summer. Not so much with the other social media platforms. The survey found that Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook saw little or no change in their popularity with teens. 45% of the teens surveyed said they had used TikTok in the last year, compared to 39% who said they had used Facebook in the last year. Friendsgiving over Thanksgiving …70% of Millennials say they prefer a Friendsgiving over a traditional Thanksgiving, and 62% of the 18- to 38-year-olds surveyed said they don’t enjoy hosting or even attending a traditional Thanksgiving. 58% said they prefer a Friendsgiving because they get to be more social, and 56% said they felt less pressure to impress their guests at a Friendsgiving. 58% said they’d rather go to a Friendsgiving because they get to avoid all those personal questions from family members. 38% say a Friendsgiving is better because they don’t have to worry about offending a relative.
